is a Grammy nominated bass player, best known for his work with King Diamond. He toured the world with King Diamond for 18 years, recording 10 albums including their top charting and best-selling records. He is currently working with his son Maryann Cotton, as well as on projects with Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee and European guitarist John Norum. As a teenager, Hal saw Dick Wagner live with Alice Cooper on the Welcome to My Nightmare tour in 1975 in Copenhagen; and it was his greatest musical inspiration ever.
